Pay Range: 45.00–53.00/hour

To achieve this, we are building a cutting-edge Personalization Platform (Hyatt’s Personalization Engine – HPE), powered by advanced AI/ML, to deliver tailored content across all guest touchpoints—both digital (web, mobile, email, app) and offline (direct mail, contact centers, etc.).

We are seeking an experienced Front-End Developer to join our team and play a key role in creating personalized, engaging experiences for our guests. This is a fully remote position, with the option for hybrid work if located in Chicago.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop HTML, CSS, and JavaScript content for email, SMS, and web channels using a Handlebars templating engine.

• Create reusable components to maintain consistent branding across all communication channels.

• Translate guest profiles, events, and promotions into rich, personalized experiences that drive guest satisfaction and revenue.

• Support the delivery pipeline by integrating with REST Web Services and selecting personalized content using JavaScript/TypeScript/Node.js.

• Collaborate with UX designers, product teams, and backend developers to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

• Ensure compatibility with email clients by adhering to HTML and CSS constraints.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 6–10 years of experience as a Front-End Developer.

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

• Experience with React.js, Bootstrap 3, and CSS preprocessors (LESS/SASS).

• Familiarity with Handlebars templating and REST API integration.

• Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with email development and its unique constraints.

• Knowledge of Node.js and backend development concepts.

• Familiarity with AI/ML-driven personalization and data-driven design.

Pay and Benefits

• Hourly Rate: 45.00–53.00 (based on experience).
